The Park Hill High School newspaper is part of the educational curriculum of the Park Hill School District. The Trojan is part of the course requirement and a regular classroom activity of the Newspaper Class. Students in the newspaper class receive grades and one academic credit for their performance
in the course per term.
The paper will be issued on a regular basis. Although the paper is a classroom activity of the Newspaper Class, material may be submitted for consideration from students who are not enrolled in the course. Students' submissions for consideration should meet deadlines set forth in the Board Policy and Regulation IGDB, copies of which are available in all buildings and Central Office. Students may also submit, for consideration, editorials on timely issues and photos that have news value. Editorials must be published over the name of the responsible individual. Further information regarding student publications is found in the Board Policy and corresponding regulation. All students are encouraged to review this Policy and Regulation.
