Graden Elementary will be holding Kindergarten Transition activities for students entering Kindergarten in August 2012. Each session will be different. Please plan to attend all sessions and bring your "Future Hornet" along too!
Monday, April 16, 2012, 1:45-3:00 p.m.
Future Hornets will attend art, music, physical education, and library classes and parents will get an overview of what Kindergarten will be like for their child.
Monday, May 14, 2012, 12:30-7:00 p.m.
*Parents will sign up for a 20 minute time slot.
Students will meet with a teacher individually for an assessment and parents will fill out enrollment paperwork.
Please bring all documents to enroll your child (call for more details):
State issued birth certificate, 2 proofs of residency, and updated immunization record.
Documents can be brought to the Graden office before the transition dates as well.
Students must be 5 years old on or before July 31 to enroll in Kindergarten for the 2012-2013 school year.
