Renner PTA is sponsoring an online school supplies pre-order for families coming to Renner next year. Order deadline is June 15, and supplies for specific classes will be shipped to your home in early August.

FAMILY NIGHT MAY 21 - Mark your calendar!  Watch D.O.G.S. is partnering with Outback Steakhouse to host a family night on May 21st from 4pm-10pm.  That evening Watch D.O.G.S. will draw for the $50 AMC Movie Family Night and the $50 Best Buy gift card.  All father-figures who served as a volunteer Watchdog this school year will have their name automatically entered into the drawing for each time they were a Watchdog (need not be present to win).  Proceeds from this night will help to support our Watch D.O.G.S. Program at Renner, so be sure to let your server know you are with Renner and present the flier upon ordering.  Look for a paper copy of the flier to come home soon.  Hope to see you for some Outback fun! Park Hill School District students can have a fun, extended learning experience through the district's Summer Explorations program.  View printable enrollment form

Kindergarten through fifth grade Summer Expeditions classes give students opportunities to enrich and review communication and math skills in preparation for the upcoming school year. The courses are themed and students will learn through hands-on activities and enrichment opportunities. The themes for each grade level are
 
Kindergarten:  Under the Sea
First Grade:  Fun on the Farm
Second Grade:  Welcome to the Jungle
Third Grade: Jumping Into Our Third Grade Time Machine
Fourth Grade:   Community of Learners
Fifth Grade:  Learning Quest
 
All elementary grades will also have the opportunity to take special Summer Academy classes. 
  
Incoming sixth graders will be introduced to Plaza Middle School. In addition to courses in mathematics and communication arts, students will also familiarize themselves with the day-to-day operations of middle school to assist in their transition from the elementary setting.
 
Classes will run Monday-Friday, June 4-22. Kindergartners through fifth graders will attend from 8 a.m. to noon, and sixth through eighth graders will attend from 7:45 to 11:45 a.m. 
 
All Chinn, Renner and Prairie Point students will attend Prairie Point Elementary. ELL students will attend English Landing Elementary for Summer Expeditions.
 
Middle School Summer Expeditions will take place at Plaza Middle School. Those attending Plaza will include current sixth and seventh graders.

Renaissance Home Connect is a web resource that allows the teacher, you and your student to share information about your student's progress in Accelerated
Reader, from your home.

Log in to Renaissance Home Connect using your student's school login information - ask your student for this information.

If you'd like to receive emails showing your student's quiz or test results, click the Email Setup link in Renaissance Home Connect and follow the directions. To be sure these emails reach your inbox, add homeconnectautodelivery@renlearnrp.com to your address book.
