We annually honor one student, staff member and community member who actively support Access and Inclusion work in the Park Hill School District.

I’ve always believed when young people encounter the histories, traditions and values of cultures beyond their own, they begin to see the world with wider eyes and more open hearts. They appreciate the different perspectives of others and can recognize, when we work together, we can make this a better place.

Diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging are big words, but to me they mean something pretty simple. They mean making sure everyone feels welcome, respected and included, no matter who they are, where they come from, or how they communicate.
