Middle School Student Wins District Spelling Bee

Delaney Nash from Walden Middle School placed second, and Kaiwen Soo from Plaza placed third.

The other top winners were Aisling Westenkirchner from Plaza, Khloe Tristan from Line Creek Elementary, Kate Sloan from Walden, Avyam Bansal from Plaza, Blake Herron from Walden, Boden Cumming from Line Creek, and Samuel Goodfriend from Graden Elementary.

Students in fifth through eighth grades were invited to take a computerized spelling test. The top 60 from the computerized exam advanced to the district spelling bee. The top 10 finishers earned medals, and the top three received trophies.
