Missouri Scholars Academy Selects Five Park Hill Students
This is the image for the news article titled Missouri Scholars Academy Selects Five Park Hill StudentsThe 2021 Missouri Scholars Academy chose five students from across the Park Hill School District to attend its summer program at the University of Missouri. It is a three-week academic residential program for 330 of Missouri’s academically gifted students.  

Students earned their spots based on several factors, including grade-point averages, student essays and teacher recommendations that described the students’ leadership, creativity, curiosity, problem-solving ability and initiative.

Ari Staggs and Lauryn Birmingham from Park Hill High School earned spots, as did Aniya Coleman, Ashton Kuhn and Sophia Nguyen from Park Hill South High School. Though selected, Nguyen will be unable to attend due to a national debate commitment.
