The Park Hill Student Clothing center opened on December 6th, 1994 in a portable classroom at Renner elementary, operating two days per month, through May of 1995, serving over 70 students, each student received 4 pairs of socks and underwear.
In May of 1996 the Center completed its first full year of operation and served 268 students, increasing the number of pairs of socks and underwear given to each student to 5 pair.
In October 1996, the Center moved to Graden Elementary, Classroom #1.
In March of 1998, the Center moved to the lower level of the Park Hill Education Building at 7703 NW Barry Road, where it remained for 10 years.

In 2006 we added the first sale of Summer Clothing and had 156 attend. We also increased the amount of clothing a student could select from 7 tops and bottoms to 12 tops and bottoms.
2006-2007 455 Students Served
We had the Second Annual Summer Sale on 5/7/07 and had 171 Students Attend. We also increased the number of pairs of socks and underwear given to each student from 6 pair per year to 10 pair per semester. Also increased the number of articles of clothing a student could select to 20 tops and 20 bottoms.
2007-2008 618 Students served
We had the Third Annual Summer Sale on 5/3/08 and had 184 Students attend. We closed the center at the Park Hill Education Building in May of 2008 and moved to our expanded facility at 8009 N. Atkins and opened for Back to School on August 12, 2008.
2008-2009 1259 Students Served
We had the Fourth Annual Summer Sale on May 2nd, 2009. We began our second full year at our new facility on August 18th, 2009.
We marked our 15th anniversary on December 6th, 2009.
2009-2010 1805 Students Served
Summer Sale was held on May 1, 2010, we had 220 students attend.
2010-2011
We began our third full year at our new facility with our Back-To-School event for 2010, held on August 3, 2010, 12:00-6:00, we had 333 students attend, a 167% increase over last year.
Due to the overwhelming support of the community and we believe the ease of donating, the bin at the front of our facility has provided, we have been able to allow the Back-To-School event clothing to be separate from the year’s worth of clothing the students normally receive. We have also doubled the amount of clothing the students receive from last year. The only thing remaining the same is the number of new socks and underwear.
Summer Sale was held on May 7, 2011. We served 205 students 2010-2011 2237 Students Served. (12.5 % increase over last year)
