- Middle School: less than or equal to 1.0 miles from school
- High School: less than or equal to 1.0 miles from school
More detailed information regarding rules and procedures for bus transportation in the Park Hill School District may be found on the transportation pamphlet right side of this screen.
Request for Alternate Route
Please note, if you are eligible for transportation First Student will assign students a bus route to and from their verified primary address of residency. To request a permanent change to your child's primary bus route, please contact First Student directly by calling 816-359-4560 or emailing Route Information Email.
Approval of an alternate route request is based upon the following:
- Pre-determined schedule for current school year OR summer school
- Alternate route must be located in the same attendance area as the verified residency of record for the student.
- Request does not cause bus route to exceed bus capacity.
- Minimum of three (3) school days advanced notice is required
Alternate Route Services may be discontinued if:
- Bus capacity limit is reached with non-alternate route students
- Student receives a misconduct slip Bus routes will not be altered or have stops added to accommodate alternate route requests.
If your child splits care between parent homes or goes to a sitter/daycare for before or after school care within current enrolled school boundaries please use the alternate route application link below. Please note, if the alternate address provided is within the walk boundary First Student is unable to provide a bus.
Alternate Transportation Request
All approved alternate route requests expire at the end of each school year. A new request is required for each summer school session and every subsequent school year. No alternate route requests carry over to the next school session.
