Seesaw

Families connect to Seesaw through an invitation sent by their child’s school or teacher. Invitations may be provided as a printed QR code, email link, or text message.

To set up family access:

• Download the Seesaw app or visit app.seesaw.me on a computer.
  • Google Play Seesaw App Download
  • App Store Seesaw App Download
• Select “I’m a Family Member.”
• Open the invitation from your child’s teacher and follow the prompts to create an account or sign in.

Seesaw includes a messaging feature that allows families and teachers to communicate within the platform. Messaging options are determined by your child’s school.

Messages are used to share information and support classroom communication. Families may receive class announcements, private messages from their child’s teacher, or group messages initiated by teachers.

Families interact with messages directly within the Seesaw app or website. After signing in, messages can be accessed from the Messages area at the top of the screen. Messages may include text, photos, videos, or other attachments, and some announcements allow private replies, depending on school settings.

Seesaw also offers built‑in language translation. If your device is set to a language other than English, you may see an option to translate messages. Families can reply in their preferred language, and teachers may view translated responses when available.
