About the Spelling Bee
The Park Hill spelling bee will be Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Park Hill High School. The winner of the Park Hill School District bee will advance to the regional bee sponsored by Mid-Continent Public Library.
Students in fifth through eighth grades may sign up for the spelling bee. A link to sign up will be available on this page October 1 - December 1. Every student who signs up for the bee will participate in the oral bee on Saturday, December 9, at Park Hill High School. Every participant will receive a ribbon and a certificate of participation, the top ten finishers will earn medals, and the top three will receive trophies.

Study Sessions
Two Mock Bees will help students prepare for the big Bee! The Mock Bees are a chance for students to learn more about the competition rules and get comfortable with the format and spelling out loud.
- Oct. 9 at 6 p.m.
- Oct. 30 at 6 p.m.
Students can choose to compete in either or both of the Mock Bees! All they have to do is show up! The Mock Bees and the District Bee will take place in the Park Hill High School Auditorium.
