Water Aerobics

 Attention Patrons, we are happy to announce the re-opening of the Park Hill Aquatic Center on June 14th for lap swimming.  We will be using a sign-up form to reserve lap lanes for swimming/water aerobics.  Links to the sign-up pages will be posted below this message.  Children will be allowed to come and swim with parents but must stay in their assigned lanes.  We are going to set a two-hour block limit per day to provide opportunities for all patrons to use the facility.  Masks will not be required but are strongly recommended as a public health courtesy. A PHAC FAQ will be posted soon that will help to answer your questions! We are so excited to welcome you back to the PHAC!

At this time, we will not be offering classes.  We will continue to update the website with dates and more information as it becomes available.

WATER EXERCISE COUPONS

Can't make it to class consistently?  Is your life schedule too hectic?  Wanting to find the aerobics class that meets your needs and goals?  The Aquatic Center sells coupons for Water Exercise coupons that can be used in lieu of enrolling in the full class.  The great thing about coupons?  They never expire! They can be used for any class!  You can share them with friends!  You can purchase coupons in the office for $40 (set of 8).

Please note, Aquatic Center coupons are meant to be used as an alternative to enrolling in the full course.  If any water aerobic course does not meet the minimum requirement of 4 enrolled participants it may be cancelled.  Please call ahead prior to attending one of the listed courses to ensure that it has met minimal enrollment requirements.

AQUAFIT (BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE)

Burn fat and increase muscle strength in this shallow water class!  This class utilizes the resistance of water to help boost your metabolism.  It is a wonderful class for those new to water aerobics, individuals with arthritis, and individuals with mobility challenges.  This instructor has 25 years’ experience in teaching water fitness. She is an expert at helping you learn to use the water to your benefit.  Join us for this fun class and discover a new form of exercise that will truly change your health!  Instructor; Jackie Tomasich

AQUACISE (INTERMEDIATE)

H2O aerobics is a quick moving, fast-paced hour of fun! This course takes place in the shallow end of our pool. H2O aerobics was designed for those individuals looking to improve their cardiovascular and muscular endurance.  You will see the results! Increased strength, balance, power and range of motion. We aim to provide you the chance to find the level of fitness that you've been searching for. Instructor; Mandy Vanzant

DEEP WATER POWER HOUR (INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED)

Deep Water Power Hour provides all benefits of the toughest aerobics class or cross country run, with none of the impact on bones, tendons, and ligaments in this complete aerobics class. You may use an Aqua Belts (provided) or your own ability to float.  Increase your flexibility, improve upper body strength, gain muscle tone and cardiovascular endurance while burning fat and toning muscle for a complete body workout with Deep Water Hour.
