We select applicants for interviews and orientation classes based on their application information and qualifications.
Substitute Teacher and Teacher Assistant:
A current Missouri teaching certificate OR substitute certification is required, as well as experience teaching, coaching, training or volunteering with youth.
Qualified candidates for health services positions must have a current Missouri RN or LPN license and health care experience.
Substitutes for support staff positions such as office assistant, preschool teacher, school aged childcare and lunchroom/playground supervisor, do NOT require a substitute certificate, however, teaching, coaching, training or volunteering with youth is preferred. Subbing for administrative assistants will require successful completion of an office and technology assessment.
Please visit the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education website to apply for a content substitute certificate. Certification requires a minimum of 60 college credits from an accredited college or university and successful completion of a background check. To register for a background check/fingerprinting, go to MACHS (Missouri Automated Criminal History System) using the Park Hill registration code 1633.
